“I have read a lot of the classic SF writers and Second Eden ranks right up there with the best. Very well done.”

International Lunar Orbiter Fleet Comaparative Database

Space Age Publishing Company has compiled some fascinating research on the "International Lunar Orbiter Fleet."

Presented as a comparative database for the use of researchers or other interested parties, this extensive body of information relates specifically to the seven international lunar orbiter missions scheduled to take place between now and 2008. According to Space Age Publishing, “This table is intended as an informational tool to help clarify understanding of current efforts regarding humanity's return to the Moon. These lunar orbiters will inevitably be followed by landing missions, and consequently, by human missions.”

This is an eye-opening report in that many of these efforts have received little, if any, publicity. Hence, we think you’ll find this an interesting addition to your explorations of the world’s space traveling ambitions. The report is available through the link as a PDF file. Note: Just a few updates for September 2004: Chandrayaan-1 is now set for SEPTEMBER 2007. And under Mission Objectives - SMART-1 and Chandrayaan-1: "water-ice" should be "water ice."
